This video covers our total costs for all our home energy generation equipment. Since September 2011 I look at what we have spent on each item along with an overall total.
Then I look at our total savings. How much our solar PV, our Tesla Powerwall 2 has saved us. What the savings are with our 2 EVs for not having to buy petrol. Plus savings for heating our hot water from excess solar and charging the electric cars from excess solar.
Our total costs are £28,607 but have we made savings? Are we in deficit or credit? Does home generation pay? Is there a return on investment with solar panels and a home storage battery?
